ABOUT THE AREA

The southwest part of the Halifax Regional Municipality consists of the Halifax, Bedford, and Sackville metropolitan area. This is an urban center that has a population of approximately three hundred thousand. Almost any imaginable amenity is available including abundant night life, fine dining and numerous shopping areas.
